(A) The Homeland Security and Emergency Management Director of Kenton County, Kentucky is hereby designated as the Director of Emergency Management for the City of Crestview Hills, Kentucky to perform the duties and responsibilities of a director of local emergency management agency as prescribed in KRS 39A through 39F.
(B) When acting as the Director of Emergency Management for the city, the Homeland Security and Emergency Director of Kenton County, Kentucky shall utilize a Unified Command System (UCS) that is recognized by the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) and to include, as needed, the Mayor, the City Administrator, the Fire/EMS Chief, the Chief of Police, and the Public Works Director of the City of Crestview Hills.
