§ 150.04 PERMIT FEES FOR LOCAL AND STATE INSPECTION.
   (A)   Term explanation.
      (1)   For purposes of this section "local building" permit fees apply to all buildings and structures that are not subject to review by the State of Kentucky under Section 105 of the Kentucky Building Code as amended.
      (2)   For purposes of this section "state building" permit fees apply to buildings and structures that are subject to review by the State of Kentucky under Section 105 of the Kentucky Building Code as amended.
   (B)   Responsibilities of the city and the state.
      (1)   It shall be the responsibility of the city to review plans and specifications, issue permits, and to determine the compliance with law for the buildings described as "local buildings".
      (2)   It shall be the responsibility of the appropriate department of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the city to review plans and specifications, issue permits, and to determine compliance with the Kentucky Building Code and appropriate city codes for the buildings described as "state buildings".
   (C)   Fees.
      (1)   Fees for the review of applications and inspection of local buildings shall be at the rate of $ .08 per square foot of the actual building size.
      (2)   Fees for the review of applications and inspection of state buildings shall be at the rate of $ .04 per square foot of the actual building size. No reduction shall be made of areas not to be completed described in § 150.02 (D)(1) above.
   (D)   That applications on file and fees paid at the time of the passage of this section but incomplete shall consider the former rates with the rates determined by this section.
