The city shall establish a voluntary list of addresses to provide any person or entity licensed pursuant to this chapter. City residents and/or property owners must affirmatively provide their address to the City Clerk to be added to this list. Licensees are prohibited from approaching any occupants of a structure, or knocking on the structure door, of an address specified on such list for a commercial purpose. It shall also be a violation of this chapter for any peddler, solicitor, or itinerant merchant to go upon any property that the owner or resident has posted a “No Soliciting or Peddling” sign.
