For purposes of this subchapter, "APPROVED," as applied to a material, device, or mode of construction, means materials, devices, or equipment listed by Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., The Testing Laboratory of the American Gas Association, Forest Products Laboratory, or other recognized testing authority and approved by the State Fire Marshal.
