For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
"DEVELOPER." Any property owner, builder, or subdivider.
"ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES" or "COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES." Include those facilities serving residential areas of the kind described herein, and does not include facilities which deliver power or communication service through such areas, or transmission facilities which terminate in such areas.
"FACILITIES." Wires, cables, transformers, fixtures, cabinets, closures, and appurtenances.
"NEW RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISIONS." Subdivisions approved by Council after the effective date of this chapter.
"UTILITY COMPANY." The Union Light, Heat, and Power Company, Cincinnati Bell, Inc., or any person, firm, or corporation authorized by Council to serve residents, businesses, or institutions in the city.
