(a) No person shall discharge any air gun, rifle, shotgun, revolver, pistol or other firearm within the corporate limits of the Municipality.
(b) This section does not apply when firearms are used in self defense, in the discharge of official duty or when otherwise lawfully authorized.
(c) This section shall not apply to recognized veterans’ organizations firing of a blank rifle salute at a funeral service or other patriotic observance nor to persons participating in the re-creation of historical events involving demonstrations firing weapons which do not contain projectiles.

(d) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
