(a) Each full-time employee (except employees covered by collective bargaining agreements) is entitled to paid vacation leave according to the following eligibility guidelines:
(1) One to seven years’ service: Two times the number of hours in his/her regular scheduled workweek.
(2) Eight to fourteen years’ service: Three times the number of hours in his/her regular scheduled workweek.
(3) Fifteen to twenty-four years’ service: Four times the number of hours in his/her regular scheduled workweek.
(4) Twenty-five or more years’ service: Five times the number of hours in his/her regular scheduled workweek.
(b) Said vacation leave shall accrue to the employee daily at the rate determined by dividing the number of vacation hours which the employee is entitled by the number of days in that year (365 or 366).
(c) In case of death of an employee, such unused vacation leave shall be paid in accordance with Ohio R.C. 2113.04, or to his /her estate.
