(a) Each full time employee (except employees covered by collective bargaining agreements), including full time hourly rated employees, after service of ninety days with the Municipality, shall receive the following paid holidays:
(1) New Year's Day;
(2) President’s Day;
(3) Good Friday, excluding Police and Fire Department employees;
(4) Memorial Day;
(5) July 4th;
(6) Labor Day;
(7) Columbus Day;
(8) Thanksgiving Day;
(9) Day after Thanksgiving;
(10) Christmas Eve Day;
(11) Christmas;
(12) Employee's birthday;
(13) One personal day.
(b) The employee's birthday holiday may be scheduled by their department head within two weeks of such birthday so as not to create overtime within their department, and at least twenty-four hours' notice must be given for use of personal day.
(c) For the purpose of this section, any holiday which falls on Saturday shall be observed on Friday and any holiday which falls on Sunday shall be observed on Monday, save and except for the Police Department and Fire Department, which shall observe the holiday on the day it falls.
