§ 155.340 AMENDMENTS.
   (A)   (1)   The regulations, restrictions and boundaries set forth in this chapter may from time to time be amended, supplemented, changed or repealed; provided, however, that no such action may be taken until after a public hearing in relation thereto by the Borough Council, at which time parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard.
      (2)   Public notice and schedule of hearings shall be conducted in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Act 247, being 53 P.S. §§ 10101 et seq., as amended.
   (B)   (1)   If the amendment is initiated by any party other than the Planning Commission, the Borough Council shall submit each such amendment to the borough and County Planning Commissions at least 30 days prior to the Commission hearing on such proposed amendment to provide the Planning Commission an opportunity to submit recommendations.
      (2)   If, after any public hearing held upon an amendment, the proposed amendment is revised, or further revised, to include land previously not affected by it, the Borough Council shall hold another public hearing, pursuant to public notice, before proceeding to vote on the amendment.
