(A) Where an act or omission is prohibited or declared unlawful in this code of ordinances, and no penalty is otherwise provided, the offense shall be deemed a violation and the offender shall be fined not more than $250 for each offense.
(B) Whenever possible, the mail-in ticket procedure for violations of city code is encouraged and the specific penalty section may refer to and incorporate the provisions of Section 92.99 of this code as an alternative to the monetary fine or penalty stated in a specific section. Where the mail-in ticket procedure is used, the fine shall be $50 for a first offense, and $100 for each subsequent offense by an offender of the same offense during a one-year period.
