(A) No person shall leave a vehicle upon any of the public ways or streets in the city for such a time and under any circumstances indicating an abandonment. A vehicle left upon a street or highway for three consecutive days shall be presumed to be abandoned.
(B) Any member of the Police Department is authorized to remove or have removed any vehicle left at any place within the city which reasonably appears to be in violation of this section. The vehicle shall be impounded until lawfully claimed or disposed of. Any vehicle abandoned on a street or highway shall be removed and disposed of in conformity with appropriate city ordinances or KRS 189.751.
