§ 30.35 REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETINGS.
   (A)   Regular meetings. The regular meetings of the City Council shall be held in the Municipal Building on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. When said meeting date falls upon a legal holiday, the meeting shall be held on the next secular day at the same hour. Adjourned meetings may be held at such times as may be determined by the City Council. Public notice of regular meetings shall be given as prescribed in §§ 2.02 and 2.03 of the Open Meetings Act.

   (B)   Special meetings. Special meetings of the City Council may be called by the Mayor or any three Alderperson by giving at least 48-hours notice thereof by delivering to them personally written or printed notices of the time of such meeting at the residences of the Alderpersons; such notices shall be served by mail, by the City Clerk, or a designated representative. Said notices shall specify the purpose of said special meeting and the business to be taken up at that time and place. Such notice shall be posted at the City Hall and shall be provided to any local newspaper of general circulation or any local radio or television station that has filed an annual request for such notice. The notice shall be provided to such news media in the same manner as said notice is given to the Mayor and members of the City Council, provided such news media has given the city an address within the city at which such notice may be given.
