The Chief of Police or his or her designee shall issue permits for special event occurring within the town limits, pursuant to the procedures established in this chapter. The Chief of Police will designate a Special Event Coordinator to act as the public point of contact for any special event permit issued. The Special Event Coordinator is authorized to impose reasonable conditions on any special event permit holder as a condition of permit approval, including change of venue, requirements that subject the permit holder to reimburse the town for expenses, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the Event Coordinator.
