(A) As provided in the state statutes, the Board shall appoint a Town Attorney to serve at its pleasure and shall prescribe his or her duties and fix his or her rate of compensation.
(B) The Board may appoint or provide for one or more Associate or Assistant Town Attorneys who shall receive compensation as may be fixed by the Board and shall have full authority to exercise and perform any of the powers and duties of the Town Attorney that may be specified by the Board or the Town Attorney.
