§ 110.02 APPLICATION AND FEE.
   (A)   Generally. Any person, corporation or other legal entity desiring to do work within the town as a general contractor, limited contractor, plumbing/HVAC contractor or electrical contractor shall complete and submit, five days prior to beginning any work within the town, a written application for contractor’s registration; the required registration fee; proof of insurance, if required; and any other documentation required. The registration application shall be $25 for general contractors, limited contractors, plumbing/HVAC contractors and electrical contractors. The registration application fee shall accompany the application. After receipt of written application for registration, the town shall issue a contractor registration card upon a determination that the registrant’s application is complete and that all required documentation, registration fees and proof of insurance, if required, have been received.
   (B)   Contractor’s registration. Contractor’s registration shall be required of persons engaged in general construction contracting business (building, residential, commercial, construction). Construction contracting shall include the erection, construction, assembling, enlarging, structural altering, roofing, siding, moving, removing, demolishing and doing of plumbing or mechanical work on any project, including the supervision of such.
   (C)   Plumbing/HVAC contractor registration. Any person desiring to work within the town as a plumbing/HVAC contractor shall complete a written application for plumbing/HVAC contractor registration and submit the fee and insurance requirements.
   (D)   Electrical contractor registration. Any person desiring to work within the town as an electrical contractor shall complete a written application for electrical contractor registration and submit the fee, copy of the master electrician’s license and insurance requirements. Every apprentice and journeyperson electrician shall work under the control and supervision of the master electrician.
