The Coordinator is hereby empowered and directed:
(A) To identify and analyze the effects of hazards that threaten the participating jurisdictions;
(B) To prepare an Emergency Operations Plan for the county and to assist in the preparation of additional emergency operations plans for the incorporated communities within the county where appropriate;
(C) To coordinate the emergency readiness responsibilities and functions of local governments, industry and citizens within the county;
(D) To expend funds for emergency operations and disaster relief not to exceed $500 without further authorization from the Emergency Management Council;
(E) To establish a program to prevent and reduce the potential effects of disasters;
(F) To assist in establishing mutual aid or cooperative assistance agreements among the local governments, industry and volunteer agencies within the county; and
(G) To execute the directives and policies established by the County Emergency Management Council.
