(B) It is the responsibility of the property owner to see that a building permit is obtained.
(C) It is the responsibility of the person doing the work to verify that a permit has been obtained and to contact the Building Inspector for inspections at the appropriate time.
(D) No permit is required for carpet, paint and similar finish work, driveways and sidewalks (except driveways and sidewalks installed parallel to the street for public use or on town property will require a permit).
