All city parks established by the City Board of Commissioners pursuant to § 94.016(A) shall be classified as one of the following:
(A) "Satellite park" is the classification for a city park that offers limited amenities and limited space. The park's core function is to provide a specific purpose to the community and rarely offers services outside of its designed purpose. Satellite parks are less than one acre in size.
(B) "Neighborhood park" is the classification for a city park that provides services for the general Covington community. Patrons of neighborhood parks are primarily city residents in the surrounding neighborhood(s). Neighborhood parks are greater than one acre, but less than or equal to 25 acres in size.
(C) "Regional park" is the classification for a city park offering services or amenities that offer value to an audience larger than city residents. Regional parks are greater than 25 acres in size.
(D) "Public green space" is the classification for a city park offering mainly organic, natural recreation opportunities and limited man designed amenities. There is no size standard for public green spaces.
