(A) Fees for preliminary and final plats; grading plans; improvement drawings and specifications; inspections and other plats.
(1) Preliminary plats. For the first acre or portion thereof: $25, plus $5 for each additional acre or portion thereof.
(2) Preliminary grading plans. Included in the fee for preliminary plats.
(3) Improvement drawings and specifica- tions. For the first acre or portion thereof: $10, plus $2 for each additional acre or portion thereof.
(4) Inspection of improvements. (See division (C) below.)
(5) Final plat. For the first acre or portion thereof: $15, plus $3 for each additional acre or portion thereof.
(6) Identification plats. Per plat: $25.
(7) Planned Unit Development (PUD), Residential Cluster Development (RCD) and other similar plats. For the first acre or portion thereof: $25, plus $15 for each additional acre or portion thereof.
(B) Payment of fees. The subdivider shall pay all fees to the Planning Commission’s duly authorized representative at the time of submitting plats, improvement drawings and specifications, and grading plans for approval. The fees shall be paid by check or money order only, and made payable to the County and Municipal Planning and Zoning Commission.
(C) Fees for inspecting improvements as per approved improvement drawings and specifications. An inspection fee of $25 per lot shall be charged to the subdivider per each lot for inspections during the construction of the improvements. The inspection fee shall be based on the number of lots intended for processing or recording as a final plat. The fee shall be paid at the time of submission of the final plat by the Planning Commission’s duly authorized representative and made payable to the County and Municipal Planning and Zoning Commission. Where improvements are to be installed prior to final plat approval, no final plat approval will be given nor shall such a plat be recorded until all inspection fees are paid in full. In the event final plat approval is given prior to installment of improvements, the guarantee posted by the subdivider as per § 157.116 shall assure the payment of all inspection fees and no guarantees shall be released until all inspection fees are paid in full. It shall be the responsibility of the Planning Commission’s duly authorized representative to ensure that inspections will be made by the applicable city or county or designated inspector. In the event the applicable city or county does not have a qualified inspector to perform inspections, then the inspection shall be performed by the Planning Commission’s duly authorized representative. Following satisfactory completion of all inspections, the Planning Commission’s duly authorized representative shall pay the applicable legislative body for the Commission’s duly authorized representative the fee as provided for in these regulations.
(D) Fees for recording final plats in County Clerk’s office. The subdivider shall pay the recording fee as per the requirements of the County Clerk’s office.
