(A) Street name signs. The applicable legislative body or fiscal court shall arrange for installation of street signs at all street intersections. The signs shall conform to the specifications of the applicable legislative body or fiscal court and be mounted at a height of approximately seven feet above the top of the curb or the crown of the pavement. They shall be located on diagonally opposite corners on the far right hand side of the intersection for traffic on the more important streets.
(B) Traffic-control signs and devices. The applicable legislative body or fiscal court shall arrange for the installation of traffic-control signs and devices which shall be in conformance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic-Control Devices as prepared by the Joint Committee on Traffic-Control Devices, United States Department of Commerce, Bureau of Public Roads.
