(A) Uniforms, if any, worn by business or industrial guards and detective agencies, and agents or employees of merchant guards, merchant patrols or detective agencies while employed within the city and county, shall be of a color different from that worn by officers of the Police Department, County Patrol, the County Sheriff’s office and the State Highway Patrol.
(B) The uniforms shall be presented to the Finance Department and the Chief of Police for their approval as to color, prior to issuance to employees and agents of merchant guards, merchant patrols or detective agencies, and before being worn by the business and industrial guards. Once the determination is made, it shall not thereafter be changed, except by mutual agreement between the Finance Department and the Chief of Police.
