§ 97.02 TRANSPORTATION.
   (A)   Medical facilities. The patient will only be transported to the nearest appropriate medical facility.
   (B)   Transportation of non-patients. Unless there is medical need, no person, except for the patient, shall be transported within the patient compartment. If the patient is unable to give consent to medical treatment due to age, incompetency or lack of consciousness, then a responsible party may be transported in the cab section of the ambulance when properly secured by a seat restraint.
