§ 94.033 CAMPING PROHIBITED; EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   For purposes of this section, CAMPING is defined as:
      (1)   Sleeping out-of-doors during the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.;
      (2)   Occupying a tent or temporary shelter out-of-doors; and/or
      (3)   Cooking over an open flame or fire out- of-doors, except on grills provided by the city for cooking purposes.
   (B)   Camping is prohibited at all parks and on property owned by the city, including the banks of the Ohio and Licking Rivers.
   (C)   Camping may be permitted in any area specifically designated by the city for camping or as may be specifically authorized by the City Manager.
   (D)   Simply falling asleep within or on public property does not satisfy the definition of camping; some additional indicia of camping, such as being asleep atop or covered by materials, including, but not limited to, a sleeping bag, air mattress, pillow or bag used as a pillow, bedroll, blanket, cardboard or newspaper, is needed to satisfy the definition of camping, as used in this section.
