(A) No police officer of the city shall engage in any additional employment outside his or her regular employment as a police officer which would conflict with the duties incumbent upon him or her to perform as a police officer of the city.
(B) No police officer of the city shall engage in part-time or full-time employment in any business establishment within the city which sells alcoholic beverages by the drink. Nothing in this section shall prevent a police officer from engaging in employment by package liquor stores, grocery stores or similar establishments which sell alcoholic beverages, but not by the drink.
