There is hereby created and established an Urban Forestry Board for the city, which shall consist of 13 members, who are citizens and residents of the city, and who shall serve without compensation. Board members shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Commission. The Urban Forestry Board exists solely in an advisory capacity and shall not have authority to make final decisions. In addition, the Urban Forester shall serve as a liaison of the Board.
