It shall be the duty of the city council, or its delegated enforcement officer, to enforce the requirements of the requirements. He may call upon any other department or official of the city to furnish him with such information or assistance as he may deem necessary for the observance or enforcement of the requirements, and it shall be the duty of such other departments or officials to furnish such information or assistance when requested.
