(A) If any vehicle is left abandoned or left standing more than 24 hours after the declaration of a snow emergency, the vehicle may be towed and impounded at a location determined by law enforcement.
(B) A $25.00 impound fee shall be assessed to the tow fee. No vehicle shall be released from impound until the tow and impound fees have been paid in full to the Clerk-Administrator. Any impounded vehicle not reclaimed by the owner is eligible for disposal or sale pursuant to M.S. § 168B.08 (as may be amended), the earlier of: (1) 45 days after notice to the owner; or (2) the date of a voluntary written title transfer by the registered owner to the impound lot operator.
