Any person, firm or corporation violating the terms and provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and may be imprisoned for a period up to thirty (30) days in the city jail, or may be fined in a sum not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00), or such fine and imprisonment may be imposed.
