15.04.160: APPLICATION REVIEW - GRANTING OR DENIAL OF APPLICATION:
The FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATOR shall:
   A.   Review all development permit applications and all development permits issued pursuant to this chapter to determine that the requirements for such applications and permits under this chapter have been satisfied;
   B.   Review all development permits applications to determine that all necessary permits and approvals have been obtained from those federal, state or local governmental agencies from which prior approval is required;
   C.   Review all development permit applications to determine if the proposed DEVELOPMENT is located in an AREA OF SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD. If located in an AREA OF SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD, assure that the provisions of this chapter are met;
   D.   Deny any application for a development permit that does not contain any information required under this chapter. The FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATOR shall provide the applicant with notice of any deficiencies in the application that result in denial of the application; and
   E.   Grant or deny the application consistent with the provisions of this chapter. The FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATOR shall only grant applications for development permits that are in compliance in this chapter, including any VARIANCES granted pursuant to this chapter.
