a. Subject to the provisions of the county floodplain control ordinance, the citizens of the town are hereby authorized, when eligible, to obtain flood insurance, subject to federal and county guidelines.
b. Within the floodplain areas of the county, as shown on maps maintained by the county, any person, firm or corporation shall obtain a permit for construction when desiring to construct a building of any kind within the corporate limits of the town.
c. The Town Clerk is hereby directed to prepare the necessary details pertaining to such permit and the administration hereof.
d. The violation of this chapter shall be subject to the penalty set forth in Article VII of this chapter.
