a. In the event of a vacancy or absence in the office of the Municipal Judge, the Council shall elect a successor to fill the unexpired term.
b. In case of the temporary absence, sickness or disability of the Municipal Judge, the said Municipal Court shall be held by a temporary Judge appointed by the Mayor upon the approval of Council.
