§ 8-1-14: DISCHARGE OF STORM AND SURFACE WATERS:
   A.   Discharge to Sanitary Sewers Prohibited: No owner, occupant or user of any premises shall direct into or allow any storm water or surface water to drain into the sanitary sewer system of the City.
   B.   Discharge Pipe: A discharge pipe shall be installed to the outside wall of all new and remodeled buildings with rigid pipe (plastic, copper, galvanized or black pipe) three-fourths inch (¾") inside diameter minimum with a union or other approved coupling for easy disconnection for repair or replacement. The discharge pipe shall have a hose bib or three-fourths inch (¾") hose connector at the outside of the hose wall, and shall be installed at the time of sump basket installation.
