7-2-6: ENFORCEMENT:
   A.   Enforcement Officer: The Public Works Director is hereby designated as the enforcing officer for this Chapter and shall have the power to issue, deny or revoke any permit. The Public Works Director may institute, in the name of the City, any appropriate actions and procedures against a violator, as provided by law.
   B.   Violation; Penalty: Any person who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as provided in Section 1-4-1 of this Code. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense. It shall be no defense that the defendant in any such proceeding has a right to appeal from any order or decision of the Public Works Director if such person has not instituted appeal proceedings with the City Council within twenty (20) days from the date of the violation or order, as the case may be.
