It shall be unlawful within the City for any person to do any of the following acts:
A. Use vulgar, obscene, disrespectful, offensive, insulting language or actions towards any peace officer while in the official performance of his/her duty.
B. Assault, beat or strike any peace officer while in the official performance of his/her duty.
C. Resist, delay or obstruct any peace officer while discharging or attempting to discharge his/her official duty.
D. Refuse to identify himself/herself and display appropriate identification when requested to do so by any peace officer while in the official performance of his/her duty.
E. Knowingly give a false name or any false information or conceal any material facts from a peace officer while in the official performance of his/her duty. (1971 Code § 16-24; amd. 2000 Code)
