A. Crime Reports: It shall be unlawful for any person to inform a law enforcement officer that a crime has been committed, knowing that such report is false and intending that the officer shall act in reliance upon such report. (1971 Code § 16-10)
B. Fire Reports: It shall be unlawful for any person to inform a firefighter or law enforcement officer that a fire requiring the services of a fire department exists knowing that such report is false and intending that the officer, firefighter or fire department shall act in reliance upon such report.
