147.02 CONTROL AND READINESS OF FIRE APPARATUS.

It shall be the duty of the Chief of the Fire Department, or in his absence the next officer in rank, to have control of all apparatus belonging to the Fire Department. He shall see that it is kept in good order and is ready for use at the time of a fire.
