(a) No curb break or opening for a residence shall exceed sixteen (16) feet in width. In the case of a curb break or opening for other than residential purposes, the width of all approaches between the premises and the street or highway shall not be greater than thirty-five (35) feet in the throat of the approach measured at right angles to the axis of the approach. Where the approach and the street or highway pavement meet, the flaring of the approach shall be permitted to allow safe and easy turning of a vehicle either into or out of the street or highway. However, in no case shall the entire break exceed forty (40) feet in length.
(b) There shall be no curb break or opening within eighteen (18) feet of a street or highway intersection. (Ord. 20-23. Passed 5-22-23.)
