§ 111.01  GENERAL PROVISIONS.
   (A)   To prevent the sale of fraudulent, dangerous, and unhealthful good and services, and to protect the public by maintaining records of the products sold and the persons and companies responsible for such sales, all itinerant merchants shall, before doing business within the municipality, make application for, and be issued a permit. Application for said permit shall be made to the Village Clerk and shall contain the necessary information and documents required for the protection of the residents of the municipality.
   (B)   All persons applying for an itinerant merchants’ permit shall pay to the Village Clerk an application fee of $20 at the time of making application, and said application fee shall be non-refundable. Any person granted an itinerant merchants’ permit shall be subject to the rules and regulations adopted by the governing body. Any itinerant merchants’ permit may be revoked by the governing body for good and sufficient cause.
