(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to park a motor vehicle or trailer on any municipal street or alley which has not been registered as required by Neb. Rev. Stat. 60-362.
(B) The municipality shall provide notice to the owner of the unregistered motor vehicle or trailer by personal service or by certified mail, return receipt requested, that the unregistered motor vehicle or trailer is required to be moved from the street or alley within seven days of receipt of the notice.
(C) The municipality may have the unregistered motor vehicle or trailer towed if the owner has not moved the unregistered motor vehicle or trailer from the street or alley within seven days after receiving notice as specified in division (B) above.
(D) The owner of the unregistered motor vehicle or trailer shall be responsible for the payment of all towing and impoundment fees.
