(A) In order to continue to provide safe drinking water to the residents of the village and to protect the municipality’s investment in its existing municipal water wells, the Wellhead Protection Area boundaries as drawn by the state’s Department of Environmental Quality on the map attached to the ordinance codified herein are hereby adopted, and the area within said boundaries shall be known as the “Village of Cortland Wellhead Protection Area”.
(B) The map of the Village Wellhead Protection Area, as prepared by the state’s Department of Environmental Quality, is incorporated by reference into this section as if fully set forth herein.
