(A) The redevelopment authority in the city is hereby designated the official Community Development Agency of the city and it shall prepare as soon as possible whatever applications may be appropriate to obtain and actively utilize the special community development funds for the city.
(B) A cooperation agreement shall be made which shall define the duties and responsibilities of the new Community Development Agency, said agreement subject to final approval by the City Council and the Redevelopment Authority Board.
