§ 150.20 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS.
   (A)   Approved by authority. Construction materials shall be indicated clearly on the application and shall be subject to approval by the authority.
   (B)   Roof. All roof surfaces shall be of non-combustible materials, unless otherwise approved.
   (C)   Exterior building walls. All exterior building walls shall be of non-combustible materials (excluding framing), and shall meet one of the following requirements.
      (1)   Tee hangars or other hangars.
         (a)   Tee hangars or other hangars which have individual doors for each aircraft space shall have one hour firewalls located so as to separate every four aircraft spaces.
         (b)   Building separation of ten feet or more shall be created between each group of four aircraft spaces.
      (2)   Open bay hangars. Buildings shall have a separation of ten feet or more, or a one-hour fire rated wall between each hangar. Hangars shall not exceed 10,000 square feet between separations or firewalls, unless otherwise approved.
   (D)   Fire extinguishers. All hangars shall be equipped with one currently inspected fire extinguisher (Type ABC, 20 pound minimum) for each aircraft space.
   (E)   Variations. Variations to the hangar requirements may be approved by the authority if such variations meet the intent of these regulations. The approval of variations must be in writing.
