(A) Cooperation between departments and agencies. Department of Parks and the Tree Committee shall cooperate and communicate with other Public Works Department personnel, City Administrator’s office, Planning Department, Community Development Department and all other city, state and federal agencies regarding any work planned or taking place.
(B) Resolution of conflicts between trees and sidewalks. Where sidewalk or curb damage due to tree roots occurs, every effort shall be made to correct the problem without removing or damaging the tree.
(C) Exemption for horticultural and agricultural use. Nothing included in the provisions of this subchapter is intended to prohibit agriculture, silviculture, horticulture or nursery operations within the city.
