6-2-4: OPERATION RESTRICTIONS:
   A.   Persons Under Sixteen Years Of Age:
      1.   A person under eight (8) years of age may not operate and an owner may not give another person who is under eight (8) years of age permission to operate an off highway vehicle on any public land, trail, street or highway of the town.
      2.   No person under sixteen (16) years of age may operate and no owner may give permission to a person under the age of sixteen (16) to operate an off highway vehicle on the designated streets of the town unless such person is under the direct visual supervision of an adult eighteen (18) years of age or older holding a valid driver's license. The violation of this provision shall be punishable as an infraction, with a maximum fine of fifty dollars ($50.00) per offense. (Ord. 07-03, 5-15-2007)
   B.   Persons Sixteen Years Of Age And Older: No person sixteen (16) years or older shall operate an off highway vehicle on the designated streets of the town unless such person has a valid driver's license. The violation of this provision shall be punishable as a class C misdemeanor, and subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 07-03, 5-15-2007; amd. 2007 Code)
