A. Parallel Parking: It shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle upon the state highway where the same passes through the town, unless said vehicle is parked off of the highway and parallel thereto.
B. Double Parking Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person to park, or cause to be parked, a vehicle alongside of another vehicle that has already been parked parallel, as required by subsection A of this section, so as to be parked in a position commonly called "double parking".
C. Penalty: Any person found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor and subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 51-A, 7-6-1959; amd. 2007 Code)
