The adult uses defined in Chapter 24 are recognized as having serious objectionable characteristics which are incompatible with, and may have a deleterious effect upon, adjacent areas. The adult uses subject to the provisions of this Section shall not be located or maintained within one thousand feet (1,000') of the nearest street entrance or exit from any residential area, public library, public playground or park, public or private school or elementary or high school grades, nursery schools or child care nurseries, church, convent, monastery, synagogue, or other place of worship, or another existing adult use.
