The grantee of any franchise granted hereunder shall, within ten (10) days after the franchise is granted, file with the city clerk a written acceptance of the terms and conditions thereof and any bond or other security required by the city council. By its acceptance of any franchise, the grantee shall covenant and agree to perform and be bound by all terms and conditions imposed by this code, this chapter and the franchise.
In regards to any franchise granted for purposes of collection, transport or disposal of solid waste or recyclables upon, over, under, in, across or along any public place in the city of Corcoran, or within the limits of the city of Corcoran, the grantee of any franchise shall covenant and agree to transport solid waste and recyclables to current county operated and future authority operated disposal facilities, as is consistent with, and directed by, the joint powers agreement between the county of Kings, and the cities of Corcoran, Hanford and Lemoore, executed on September 12, 1989, and any amendments thereto.
