165.58 PUBLIC HEARING PROCEDURES.
Where in the implementation of this chapter a public hearing is required, notice of time and place of such public hearing shall be published not less than seven (7) nor more than twenty (20) days preceding said hearing and at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. The public hearing notice shall include a summary of the subject matter of the public hearing and a description and address of property, if any, to be subject matter at said public hearing. As a matter of courtesy the Zoning Administrator shall mail to property owners within 200 feet of a property to be the subject matter of a public hearing a copy of the public hearing notice and an explanation of their rights to be heard and/or protest the proposed action. Failure of property owners to receive this notice shall not invalidate any subsequent action of the City.
