§ 33.16 APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS.
   The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the Manager with the advice and consent of the Council. The Chief of Police, with the approval of the Manager, shall appoint as many police officers as may from time to time be deemed necessary for the safety and good order of the City.
