§ 132.17 EXPIRATION AND EXTENSION OF PROCLAMATION.
   An emergency proclaimed in accordance with this chapter shall terminate after 72 hours or upon the issuance of a proclamation determining that the emergency no longer exists, whichever occurred first; provided, however, that in the event conditions continue to exist which endangers life or property, then such state of emergency may be extended for such additional periods of time not exceeding 72 hours, as may be determined by resolution of the City Council.
